Redstone Diary 2014: The Social Diary

Humankind is social. We have meetings to attend, appointments to keep, and business to conduct. Hunting and gathering, raising crops, working at a factory, farm, or office - all are deeply ingrained in our nature. But how could we be human without the customs and rituals of social life, the ceremonies that mark the turning year, the rites of passage and the pleasures of celebrations? We need the church, temple and mosque; the cafés, bars and restaurants; the clubs and dance halls. As social beings, we enjoy things - coffee, tea, beers and liquors - to raise our spirits. This socially-themed, spiral-bound agenda includes pockets and sections for notes and addresses.
